Teatro Proletario de Cámara de Osvaldo Lamborghini: un dispositivo pornográfico

The Argentine writer Osvaldo Lamborghini (1940-1985) undertakes towards the end of his life, shut in Barcelona, a vast project called Teatro proletario de cámara. In this intermedia work made of montages, collages and writing, different techniques of drawing and painting cross to intervene the pornographic image that lodges the center of its project. If the form of Teatro proletario de cámara inherits so much of sketchbook as of the artist book, an authentic critical device spreads out on sexuality and its representation. The project, unfinished, is not limited to be a work in the crossing of the word with the image but it enters completely the debate in the 80’s on pornography, giving back to the pornography his lysergic and political dimension, at a time of censorship and reaction.
