Abstract

This presentation is part of an ongoing doctoral thesis entitled Gender and Literature textbooks for high school Argentina (1984-2011) funded from a postgraduate scholarship from CONICET. Such research has as main objective to reconstruct how they impact the language arts manuals published for Argentine secondary level, some discussions around gender (gender), during certain historical turning points: 1984, 1994 and 2006. Specifically, the text presented to the dossier “Perspectivas sexogenéricas: literatura, artes y política” focuses on the analysis of a case: the manual Lengua y Literatura 1, published by Editorial Santillana in 1988. For its peculiarities, the it possible to show how discussions given in the field of gender studies and sexualities begin to enter or not-in the manuals of literature in Argentina from democratic restitution.

Pamela Virginia Bórtoli

Es Profesora de Letras por la Universidad Nacional del Litoral y Doctoranda en Humanidades y Artes por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Su tesis doctoral, financiada por una beca de CONICET, se desarrolla en una zona de borde entre los estudios de género y la didáctica de la literatura. Es Profesora Ordinaria Adjunta en la cátedra “Lectura y escritura de textos Académicos” en la carrera de Trabajo Social (UNL). También es coordinadora del Ciclo de “Licenciatura en enseñanza de la Lengua y la Literatura” de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias (UNL), y profesora de “Tesina” en dicha carrera.
