Abstract

This paper aims to highlight two phenomena that occur in the Journals of Rodolfo Walsh and Alejandra Pizarnik. On one hand, the material aspect of writing as set forth in a diary, and on the other hand, the relationship between this material aspect and a recurrent topic in these journals, i.e., the impossibility of writing and not writing. Our hypothesis, following Giorgio Agamben, is that such writing impotence is exposed as matter.
