Patria: memoria cultural y silencio

Abstract

The aim of this essay is to consider Fernando Aramburu´s Patria (2016) from
the concepts of cultural memory, collective memory, forgetfulness and silence. Further,
it will be considered the social and political issues about the ETA terrorism and the
possibilities of representation of this matter, terrorism´s personal experience and its
little massive impact on the market and the Media until the publishing of this novel.
