Abstract: This paper approaches the narrative of Felix Bruzzone from the concepts of realism and performativity. We affirm that this narrative is contextualized in the return of realism. Nevertheless, this realism in particular does not appear as the sober and mimetic style of the sixties and seventies, but is accompanied by procedures that relate to the artistic avant-garde and the anachronism. This shift of memory narratives to the use of these resources is considered as a need to continue narrating in a different way than with the procedures that shaped the first realism, and also as a political imact in the cultural field.
