Considering the implications of the episode generated by the publication of the book, in 1926, by Clara Beter “Versos de una…”, written by César Tiempo, we will dwell on the critical analysis of Pietism as the ideology of Boedo group (a more or less structured set of ideas about social issues and, consequently, about literary creation) and as a resource from which they thought a possible political effect of literature based on the principle of “social sympathy”.
