This essay accounts for the current connection between the experiencia of a writer experience who attends a meeting with an Other, understood from the ethics of Lévinas, and the literary form that the narration of that form acquires. The work is divided into two parts, in the first one, it will briefly develop the thesis about the experience discussed by Walter Benjamin and Giorgio Agamben, according to two vectors: on one hand, the decline of the “traditional” experience at the beginning of the twentieth century and, on the other hand, the connection between experience and narration. In the second part, the essay revises the postulates of Theodor Adorno, Emmanuel Lévinas and Martin Jay, based on the link between experience and literature, and afterwards, it analyzes the aforementioned articulations in Argentine chronicles: Cuando me muera quiero que me toquen cumbia. Vidas de pibes chorros, by Cristian Alarcón and Los otros. Una historia del conurbano bonaerense, by Josefina Licitra.
