This article explores the use of paradoxes and the invention of the feminine in Marta Riquelme of Ezequiel Martínez Estrada. The hypothesis is that Martinez Estrada uses anachronical modes of the feminine in the image of the writer, who, introduced by paradoxes, acquire new meanings. So, Marta Riquelme is invested in that various feminine identities not be said in a single way of being, therefore the story can reflect on the cultural, historical, and discursive construction of sexual identity.
