In this text we will analyze some aspects related to the link between performance and writing in Kiki (2008) and Kiki 2 (2012) by writer, tarotist and visual artist Cuqui. Keeping in mind the idea that performance is vanishing and writing, durability, our proposal approaches a work that explores emptiness as place where both, performance and writing, converge and become a subjectivation strategy after the deletion of the proper name which implicates heteronyms proliferation. Kiki´s assumption of subjectivity during performance and what is registered by Cuqui through her “sentential performance” supposes failures and disagreements between what is said and named that allows a space of subjective, aesthetic and performatic experimentation.
